How long will Japan's isolation last?

As of February 10, foreigners visiting the Philippines for tourism can enter the country if they meet certain conditions. Those conditions are

(1) Vaccination must have been completed (Vaccine Passport is required)
2) The passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

3)The applicant must have a plane ticket to leave the Philippines.
4) Proof of negative test results within 48 hours prior to travel to the Philippines.
5) You must have travel insurance of at least $35000.
If you meet these requirements, you can enter the Philippines with a tourist visa.

Although this is good news, it is not easy for the general public to go because of the high cost of airfare and the strict conditions such as the seven-day waiting period at home when returning to Japan.

Still, I think the Philippines' move is welcome and justified.

On the other hand, Japan continues to impose entry restrictions that are frowned upon by foreign countries.
It has not changed its stance of denying landing to non-Japanese nationals except in special circumstances.
However, for some reason, South Korea, China, and Taiwan are not included in the countries that are refused.
It is not surprising that China and Taiwan are not included in the list, even though the number of infected people in Korea is increasing just as it is in Japan.

In the name of "waterfront operations," they are refusing to land, but given the current situation where the number of infected people in Japan is exploding, it is hard to deny the feeling of "what is waterfront?

This measure is said to continue until the end of February, but I think it would be in the national interest to follow the example of the Philippines and allow the landing with certain conditions.
