Happy Recognition Day!

Graduation ceremonies and school year completion ceremonies in the Philippines are held from the end of March to April, but in Cebu, it was July 5 this year due to the Corona Disaster.

Many high school and higher graduates wear square caps and academic gowns for their graduation ceremonies, and there are many photos of them on Facebook.
It looks cool, just like a graduation ceremony. In some schools, it is light blue instead of black. However, it is a tropical country, so I think it must be hot.

My children are still in elementary school, so they have a few years before graduation, but at the end of the school year, there is a graduation ceremony. This day is called "Recognition Day," and there is an awards ceremony.
This time, my daughter received "The Honor", which is given to the student who achieves the highest grade. She was informed of the award a few days ago and immediately asked my wife for a gift. The gift was a meal at Jollibee. She's still a kid, so it's cute. When she gets older, she will probably ask for something more expensive.

After the closing ceremony, my daughter, son, and the children of my wife's sister, who is taking care of them, had dinner at Jollibee. A picture of them was sent to me.
Congratulations Nicole. Keep up the good work!
