Go to the mall.

We went to a shopping mall in Kashiwa City to buy clothes for my wife as we were going to Kumamoto and Fukuoka from November 5th.

Whenever I go abroad, I often go to the shopping mall, but I rarely go to the mall in Japan. there are no shopping malls near me, and I don't want to leave my house on my days off.

On the other hand, when I am abroad, I can walk around the city instead of staying in a hotel room, and in Southeast Asia, the shopping malls are cooler and I can go window shopping to see what's on sale.
If I get hungry, I can go to a restaurant and watch a movie to pass the time. Especially, Hollywood movies are released earlier than in Japan, and the price is cheaper at about a fifth of the price.

In Cebu, we often stay in hotels near the Ayala Mall, so we may go several times a day.

Seven Park Kashiwa, where we went yesterday, is a fairly large shopping mall, run by Seven and I Holding, as the name suggests.

Some of the specialty stores include H&M, which my wife wanted to go to. There's a movie theater and quite a few specialty shops in there, so it's hard to get around all of them. There is also a full food court, and we thought there weren't many people there yesterday because of the holiday season, but there were a lot of people with their children (fall break?). There were quite a few people in the room.

We were supposed to go shopping for about an hour and a half, but we ended up staying for a little over four hours, and my wife bought clothes, I bought shoes, and we went home after buying groceries for dinner at the Ito Yokado supermarket in the mall.

My wife liked it and wants to go there again. It's less expensive than going to Kashiwa (there is a free shuttle bus from Abiko station), which is also a high point for my wife.
