Following last Friday, my wife and I went to Don Quijote yesterday to get some snacks to send to my family in Cebu.
On Friday, I bought some ramen noodles, cup yakisoba, furikake, etc., but this time, I mainly bought chocolates and sweets, as if I had been talking about chocolates in every video call.
My wife had to buy at least 10 pieces for my wife's siblings' children as well. Once we got back home, my wife wrote her name on each piece of candy to make sure all the kids got it, but there seemed to be something missing, so we went back to Don Quijote to buy more.
My wife has almost finished her shopping, including the children's clothes she bought last week, so she packs them up. It looks like it will fit somehow.
Now all I need to do is put in my son and daughter's two AQUOS smartphones that my wife uses, and she is done.
One of them is already out of use, so it's not a problem, but the other one is still in use by my wife, and she can't send it to her until her new smartphone arrives.
My wife's new smartphone is an iphone 13 Pro, but it is in short supply and is scheduled to arrive between November 9 and 16.
I hope it will be delivered soon, but if it is November 16, it will be too late to send the balikbayan, and in some cases, it may not reach Cebu before the end of the year.
So now I'm praying for the iPhone to arrive as soon as possible.
