The blog posts I started writing on August 1, 2020 have finally passed the 200 mark.
On average, I have been writing about 9 times a month.
If I were to position this blog as a diary, I would say that I have been skimming through it quite a bit.
In the beginning, I wrote that my goal was to move to Cebu in about two years, but in reality, it seems to have been pushed back quite a bit, to about five years.
I often read blogs written by other people and am truly impressed by those who continue to update their blogs daily.
At the same time, I often see blogs that stop at about 10 posts.
In that light, I am proud to say that my blog has continued to be there, although I have not been able to update it every day.
Deciding what to write about in a blog post is hard. There is no one thing to write about every day.
Even though it is a diary-style blog, there are not many events that have enough content to write about in a monotonous day.
In my case, I decide on a theme about the day before and make eye-catching images the next morning. Depending on each content, I gather data and reference articles before starting to write the blog.
So depending on the content of the article, it may take two to three hours to finish writing it.
My writing speed is not that fast. If anything, I might be classified as a slow writer.
After writing up the blog post, I start translating it into English, which doesn't take too long since I have a strong view of DeepL.
In Japanese, it is normal not to write the subject, so I just supplement the subject when translating it into English.
As I have written before, this blog is my memorandum. Since the readers are my wife and I, I write quite freely.
If I were to send it out to the outside world, I would have to write more elaborate content.
However, since I am putting it on the Internet, someone may read it.
So I try to make sure that the content in the articles is as accurate as possible.
I have started two other blogs besides this one, but they are closed.
At the moment, it is difficult to find time to write other blogs, but since the other blogs are for external communication, I will try to find time to write them.
