My wife wanted to get a hot press sandwich maker the other day.
She liked the hot-pressed sandwiches she had at Coffee Ito when we went back to Fukuoka, and wanted to make them herself.
When I looked on Amazon, I saw a variety of products from different manufacturers, so I bought a Recolto pressed sand maker based on price, design and ratings.
My wife's breakfast today turned out to be a hot-pressed sandwich.
I usually wake up around 4:30 a.m. and have Japanese breakfast around 6:00 a.m.
So I had already had breakfast today,
but decided to have a pressed sandwich to accompany my wife.
My wife loves cooking so much that she uploads videos of her cooking on YouTube, and she always feeds me delicious food.
So, this pressed sandwich is also very good.
The crust of the bread are burned to a crisp.
At Coffee Ito, they cut off the crunchy part so that you can eat it with whipped cream, but at home, we leave it as it is.
Next time I'd like to prepare whipped cream and eat it.
My wife likes the crunchy texture, and she also likes the well-done crispy skin of the lechon babui.
