Last Friday afternoon, I suddenly heard a loud noise coming from the next room.
I peeked in to see what was going on and found a big hole in the wall.
It seems that my wife, who was exercising, accidentally hit the wall and made a hole.
Fortunately, she wasn't injured, which was a relief, but it was a pretty big hole.
In the Philippines, rooms are partitioned with blocks, so they won't break if someone bumps into them, but in Japan, the walls are made of plasterboard, so they can break if something hard hits them.
So my wife was surprised.
The size of the hole is 23cm in length and width. I immediately searched for a way to repair it on Google, and found that it was surprisingly easy to prevent the hole.
immediately searched Amazon for nearby repair supplies and found them to be a bit expensive. The Monotarou shopping site was cheaper, but it seemed to take a long time to arrive.
So I went to Vivahome, a three-minute walk away, and bought some repair supplies.
I had to work on Saturday, so I tried to repair it on Sunday.
I was a little worried because I am not very handy. I was a little worried because I couldn't get wallpaper with the same pattern, so I had to peel off the broken wallpaper and reuse it, and I wasn't sure if I could repair it without it being noticeable.
The result was not perfect, but it was not noticeable at first glance, so that was good.
