An event called Prince and Princess was held at my daughter's elementary school.
I looked it up on the Internet, but I don't know why there is such an event, and it doesn't seem to be an event that is held in elementary schools all over the Philippines or even in all of Cebu. It may be only in some areas in Cebu.
I am not sure what the event is about, but it seems to be an event where people dress up in prince or princess costumes and take pictures.
My wife said that this event was held when she was a child, so it must be a traditional event.
It seems that it is optional to participate in the event.
My daughter and my wife's sister's two daughters, who live in the will, did attend and there was a picture of the three of them on Facebook.
The son did not want to participate, well, I don't think it would be any fun for a boy to dress up as a prince. Unless he can fight with a sword in a prince costume.
But girls, or rather women, like to dress up, and even men don't mind seeing a well-dressed woman.
My daughter and nieces were overjoyed to be able to dress up and have their makeup done.
Although it is still some time away, it seems to be the Filipino way for girls to celebrate their 18th birthday in a big way by dressing up. I hope she continues to grow up healthy. After all, my daughter is definitely a princess in our family.
