End of rainy season?

The weather has been sunny since last Friday. And it has suddenly gotten hotter.
The weather is forecast to continue this week and there is no sign of rain.

The weather map shows a typical summer pressure pattern, with the Pacific High extending far out into the Japanese archipelago.

The front in mainland China is a concern, but it does not seem to be affecting us at this time.
The heat wave has been continuing day after day, as if the chilly days at the beginning of June were a lie.

Today's high temperature in Tokyo is predicted to be 36 degrees Celsius.
Normally, we should be happy that the dreary rainy season is over and a brisk summer has arrived, but the power shortage is putting a damper on that.

The sudden heat is expected to cause a power supply and demand crunch in the TEPCO service area, and the government has issued a "power supply and demand crunch warning" for the TEPCO service area (Tokyo and eight prefectures) between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., calling for power conservation.
While the cold of winter can be shrugged off by putting on clothes, it is not possible not to turn on the air conditioner in the heat of summer.

Since our house is an apartment, unlike a detached house, it is never extremely cold or hot in both summer and winter, but we spend a lot of time with the air conditioner on in summer.
Since we both work, we are rarely home during the day, and as a result, we are able to cooperate with the power crunch in some small way.

The House of Councillors election campaign has begun, and one of the issues is the restarting of nuclear power plants to ensure a stable supply of electricity.
I am in favor of restarting nuclear power plants while ensuring their safety.

That said, when will the Japan Meteorological Agency declare the end of the rainy season?
