Changed from LINEMO to Japan Communications SIM

Following my wife's switch from Rakuten Mobile to POVO, I decided to switch from Softbank's LINEMO to Japan Communications.
LINEMO's 3GB plan costs 990 yen and calls cost 22 yen per 30 seconds. On the other hand, Japan Communications SIM offers the cheapest plan, the Simple 290 plan, for 290 yen, an unbelievably low price.

Moreover, calling charges are half the price of LINEMO at 11 yen.

LINEMO is said to be free of calling charges if you use the LINE call function, but the other party must also be using LINE.
I once made a call with LINEMO, but the call cost 660 yen for a long conversation, which I felt was expensive.
On the other hand, Japan Communications uses NTT DoCoMo's line, so you can make a normal call for half the price (11 yen), which is a good deal.

I don't make phone calls unless I have to. I don't know how much 1GB of communication data can be used, but if 1GB is not enough, I can just buy more, so I don't think it will be much of a problem.

With price hikes continuing, we must save what little we can.

I had to pay an administrative fee of 3,300 yen for the transfer, but I will get it back in 5 months, so I guess it's a good thing.
I found out later that if I buy a starter pack from Amazon, I only have to pay 3031 yen. I was a little disappointed.
I thought it was important to do my homework.
