A quick review of the week

It's not that I didn't have time, but I've been neglecting to update my blog. Sorry about that.
This time, I'll look back on the past week as a reminder.

On October 29th, my wife wanted to go to Ami Premium Outlets, so we went there.
We took a bus from Arakawaoki Station. It takes about an hour to get there, which is about the same time it takes to get to Ario Kashiwa.
The only difference is that it is a local bus, so it costs 500 yen round trip. Ario Kashiwa has a free shuttle bus from Abiko Station.

It's been 15 years since I've been to an outlet, since the last time I went to Tosu Premium Outlets.
Outlet stores sell brand-name products that cannot be sold in regular stores, so the appeal is that you can buy them at a slightly lower price, but there is also information that they make and sell products for outlet stores in advance, so I feel like I am no longer getting a good deal.

My wife wanted to buy some children's clothes to send to her family in Cebu.
However, even though it was an outlet, it was not that cheap since it was a brand name product. I found a bargain among them and bought about five outfits.
It was time to eat, so we thought we'd get something to eat, but it was a bit expensive. So I decided to go back to Ryugasaki and eat.

I'll be working part-time on Saturday and Sunday, October 30 and 31. I started this part-time job in November last year, and I'm planning to quit it by November.

On October 30, my wife's iPhone 13Pro arrived and I picked it up at the Family Mart in front of the station. I purchased it from the Apple Store, but for some reason it was not delivered at home, but at a convenience store.
My wife was overjoyed as she had been waiting for this day for a long time.

It took me a while to set it up, but I was able to use it normally in two days.
The main reason for the hassle was that I couldn't download any apps from the Apple store.
Naturally, the Facebook application, which is indispensable for Filipinos, could not be downloaded from the Apple Store.

When I looked into it, I found out that it was because Rakuten Mobile does not support Apple Store payments (payments).
This may be because Rakuten Mobile has never handled Apple products before.
However, since Rakuten Mobile is officially handling Apple's products starting with the iPhone 13, I hope they will respond as soon as possible.

I think it can be done by paying by credit card. So I tried to register my wife's credit card to my smartphone, but she stubbornly refused, so I ended up solving the problem by linking the Apple Store payment to my smartphone (Softbank).

On November 1st, I went to Hello Work for my first certification day. This time I'm halfway through and will be eligible for 13 days of benefits, but since I worked part-time for 4 of those days, 9 days of benefits will be determined.

On November 2nd, I went to Kashiwa for an interview with a company I had applied for. I'll be notified of the interview results later. If I pass the interview, there will be a second paper test.

Before the interview, I went to Mizuho Bank to make a payment for my voluntary health insurance plan. I was told that it would take 45 minutes to pay at the counter. So I decided to just go to the reception desk and pay back after the interview.
It would be nice if the health insurance association would accept credit cards instead of payment slips.

On November 3, I went to the Ryugasaki Sports Park for my second vaccination. It was a beautiful day and the park outside the venue was crowded with many families.
The number of confirmed cases of the new corona has been decreasing and the state of emergency has been lifted, so it seems that daily life is gradually returning.

Yesterday, for the first time in a long time, I didn't go out anywhere. My wife finished packing the boxes of Balikbayan boxes. Sagawa Express is coming to collect it this afternoon.
The iPhone13Pro arrived earlier than expected, so I can ship it out sooner. Still, I'm not sure if it will arrive before the end of the year.
I'm hoping it will arrive before Christmas.
