Last day of my trip to Kyoto. I thought about going to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, but considering my wife's tiredness from walking yesterday, I decided to relax at the hotel until I chucked out.
On the first floor of the hotel, there was a Crescambere Kyoto store, which my wife had seen with great interest the day before.
After breakfast, we went back to my room and waited for the store to open at 10:00 a.m. and went to Kuresanbelle.
After looking around, my wife asked me which one I liked.
I'm not interested in jewelry at all, so when people ask me which one I like, I don't really know.
After much deliberation, my wife bought a pair of earrings.
I was told that if there was any problem, they have a store in Ginza, Tokyo, and they would take care of it there.
Later, I found out that Cressanbert's only directly managed stores are in Tokyo and Kyoto.
I remembered that Cressanbert was a jewelry brand of Kyocera. That's why they had a directly managed store in Kyoto. Mr. Inamori of Kyocera is famous for his success in rebuilding Japan Airlines as its chairman after it went bankrupt, so perhaps that's why the Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto has a directly managed Kuresanbelle store.
Back in the room, my wife went into the bathroom to put on the earrings she had just bought.
That's when the incident occurred.
She dropped one of her earrings into the sink of the sink and unfortunately it got sucked into the drain.
I immediately called the hotel front desk, and they came to my room with the facilities manager.
They removed the pipe with a pipe wrench and took out the earring. Thank you very much.
I checked out a little before 11:00, bought some souvenirs at Kyoto Station, and went to the Shinkansen platform.
Today we left Kyoto Station on time. The train slowed down around Maibara, but arrived at Tokyo Station almost on time.
It was a short trip, but it was a good memory, including the falling earrings incident.
