Shopping on our 3rd wedding anniversary

March 8 is my wife and I's wedding anniversary.
I had thought about making reservations at some fancy restaurant to celebrate, but my wife insisted that we go to the Ami Premium Outlets.
It was cold with occasional light drizzle, but the weather did not bother us that much since we were mostly in the store.

The purpose of the day was for my wife to buy me a wedding anniversary gift: a pair of Nike sneakers and a shirt. My wife wanted to get me a Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, but I prefer Brooks Brothers, so she went with that. Thanks for the nice gift.

This was the first time I wore Nike sneakers, and my size was 27 cm. The shoes I usually buy are 26cm, so I am two sizes bigger. Even so, they were a little tight.

Upon further research, I found that Nike's sneakers are tailored to Westerner's feet.
Japanese feet are wider and have a higher instep than Westerners, so buying a shoe size larger than a Japanese shoe size is just right.

My gift to my wife was a pair of sneakers and denim pants. My wife didn't like the sneakers at Nike, so we went to a New Balance store and bought them.
When my wife said she was going to New Balance, I actually had no idea it was a sneaker brand.

After shopping, we had a late lunch at Kobe Motomachi Doria and a parfait for dessert before heading home.
Dinner that day was a Big Mac set from McDonald's, my wife's treat.

What will next year's wedding anniversary be like?
