Our kids are studying now.

Our children have not been able to go to school in the Philippines for the past seven months due to the new coronavirus in the Philippines.

Children seem to be crippled by the ban on going out of school as well as under 20 years of age itself, so they have nowhere to go.

They're not supposed to leave the house, but my kids live in Provence, so they're running around the house with the neighborhood kids.

Every day is like a summer vacation when our children are not in school, so they had a good time of it.

Schools finally started on October 5th all over the Philippines, but students cannot go to school because it is prohibited to go outside. It seems that schools in urban areas have lessons using the Internet, but in rural areas in Cebu Island, the Internet environment is not well maintained, so they have to learn in modules.

Modular learning is like homework, where you study the handouts you get from school and submit them at home.

The older one is 8 years old and is in the third grade of elementary school in Japan. So they don't seem to learn very difficult things. But the official language is English and Philippine, so they have to write it down in English.

Since English is the official language in the country, people think that Filipinos can speak English normally, but in fact, there are many people who cannot speak it. That means there are many people who have not been able to receive a satisfactory education.

I want my kids to go to college at the very least, so I want them to learn the basics of English. So I'm glad school has started.

Keep it up! Children.
