I received a JAL travel coupon.

The Japan Airlines travel coupons I've been accumulating every month since July 2018 arrived yesterday.
I paid 9,678 yen per month for 30 payments of 290,340 yen by card and received a travel voucher worth 300,000 yen, which is an extra 9,660 yen.

If I didn't have the new Corona, I would have used this travel coupon to go to Thailand with my wife, but I won't be able to go until the fall or so.
I might be able to use it for my return trip to the Philippines, but at the moment JAL's Manila flights are expensive and it's hard to move around the terminal at Ninoy Aquino Airport. I'd rather take a direct flight to Cebu as it takes less time.
Unfortunately, JAL does not have direct flights to Cebu. Philippine Airlines has a codeshare with All Nippon Airways, so I guess you can use All Nippon Airways travel coupons.

So, it looks like I won't be using this travel coupon for a while. I still have 43,000 yen worth of travel coupons left that I accumulated before.
This is because there are only a limited number of places where it can be used.
When I went to Kumamoto with Go to Travel, I really wanted to pay with travel coupons, but I was disappointed that I could not use them for dynamic packages.

Now that I'm commuting to Tokyo, I can go to the JAL Plaza in Yurakucho to pay for my booked air tickets with travel coupons, but if I'm in the countryside, I have to send travel coupons by mail.

I believe that paper travel coupons will be replaced by electronic travel coupons in the future, and when that happens, they will be much easier to use. If this does not happen, the number of people buying travel coupons through savings will surely decrease.

Anyway, since I have the travel coupons in hand and will have more free time after July, where should I go with my wife using these travel coupons?

Traveling is most fun when you plan it, so let's take our time to plan it and enjoy it.
