The company I work for has a mandatory retirement age of 60, after which I can work as a fixed-term contract employee until I turn 65.
I will be 65 years old this October, and I will be ending my contract with my current company at the end of September, one month early.
After that, I'm trying to figure out what kind of work I want to do.
My pension will cover food, clothing, and shelter, so I'm thinking of looking for a job that will provide me with enough income to save without being too overwhelming.
At the same time, I want to find a job that will give me a purpose in life that I can continue after I move to the Philippines.

It has to be something I like to do, something I'm good at, something society needs, and of course, something I can earn money from.
Income is a barometer of how useful a job is to someone.
Naturally, this will lead to motivation and satisfaction to continue the work.
I have been working for a company for 42 years since I graduated from college.
There were times when my work gave me a sense of fulfillment, and other times when it did not.
When I look back, I think I had a reasonably happy corporate career.
However, since I was working in an organization, it was true that I did not always like or excel at the work I did.
That's why I want to do a job that I can really devote myself to after I quit the company.
Whether or not this will become my calling in the future remains to be seen, but I will try to make it visible by the end of the year.
