I've been running this blog on a "Name.com" server, but the display was very slow, so I decided to move to a different server.
I had signed a contract with Xserver, a reputable rental server, in January, but the data migration of wordpress did not go well, so I left it for a while.
I was able to get some time together last weekend, so I tried to relocate again.
After some research, I found out that the reason why the data migration failed last time was because I hadn't activated the plugin.
By enabling the Xserver Migrator above, I can easily migrate data to Xserver.
As a result, I was able to migrate the data safely.
However, there is one problem. When you run the easy wordpress migration, you need to add /wp to the domain in the URL.
The blog that used to appear at https://cebu-japan.com is now at https://cebu-japan.com/wp
I found out on the Internet that it can be fixed, so I'll try next time.
At the same time, I decided to transfer my domain name registered with "Name.com" to Xserever.
I have been using "Name.com" for a long time, but there are too many mail sales. I was annoyed to receive several e-mails almost every day, so I think I will be relieved of this annoyance.
